Firstly, have a look at these spectacular images. Secondly, have a guess what they are .
And thirdly, leave your guess in the comments section of this post.

A few conditions: "Follow" this blog if you don't already, "Like" the Find, Make, Do Facebook page ( if you can't stand FB that's ok, I'm cool with that) and have a look at Betty Jo's products page and tell me which design you would like.
I will reveal the answer and the source in a week or so. If you are clever detectives you may be able to hunt down the answer in internet land! And there is a clue on this blog page!
Happy guessing.
All i can think of is Pee Wee Herman saying, "I know you are, but what am I?" But I think they are door knobs...
ReplyDeleteI say they are door knobs also.
ReplyDeletebuttons :)
ReplyDeletehmmm, for some reason I thought they were darning mushrooms, but I can't find any clue anywhere as to that's what they are. Still going to say darning mushrooms anyway!
ReplyDeleteMy immediate thought was: planets or moons. Can't find matching images though:-(
ReplyDeleteI think they are very close up pictures of scuffed thumb tacks or upholstery pins.....but then again....hee hee
ReplyDeleteMxooxx
OOh Selina I think you are on to something. I just went and had a close look at my mum's old darning mushroom!!!
ReplyDeleteThey look to me like the tops of tree trunk seats with specks of paint on them.
ReplyDeleteOkay... I reckon the photos are frying pan bottoms...I already follow the blog, don't have facebook and my favourite design on the Betty Jo Products page at the moment (if I must choose)is the Grass Green brooch. Just LOVE those colour theme collage brooches!
ReplyDeletei dunno but they are pretty and kinda soothing to examine!
ReplyDeleteAre they images from the June Lunar Eclipse - perhaps???
ReplyDeleteBalls of some kind..cricket perhaps...
ReplyDeleteSaucepans or frying pans!!
ReplyDeleteUhoh, we need secret ballot! Like the many others, I immediately thought of Mum's grandmother's darning mushroom (After dismissing the planet and moon options). They have an exquisite patina, whatever they are. Beautifully shot against black. I am attracted to life-affirming, vivid, warm red at the moment, and so my current Betty Jo favorite item is the ruby red collage brooch. Good luck to all! L xx
ReplyDeleteLove the images - my guess is frying pans!
ReplyDeleteOops...now following and liking! And I'd LOVE a cuckoo clock brooch - my absolute fave!
